Bulldogs Offence Explodes in 19-4 Win

The Halton Hills Jr. B Bulldogs might be hitting their stride just at the right time.  Don't look now, but the Dogs have won five of their last six games and will look to make it six of seven when they travel to Barrie to wrap up their regular season schedule on Sunday at 7pm.

On Saturday night, the Bulldogs got out of the gate a little slow, trailing 2-0 early before going on a 10-1 run to lead 10-3 after one.  The Dogs dominated the rest of the contest, outscoring Brampton 9-1 over the final 40 minutes of play to secure the 19-4 win and push them above .500 for the first time since May 13th when they suffered a road loss to West Durham to drop to 3-3.

Sunday will be one of the biggest days on the OJBLL schedule in recent memory as the Bulldogs could still finish as high as 5th and as low as 8th depending on the result of their game against Barrie along with results of games involving Akwesasne and Gloucester who face Kahnawake and Nepean respectively.

With the Green Gaels facing Newmarket on Monday, the final playoff opponents may not be determined until Monday night.  Stay tuned!
