Road Win Over Green Gaels Puts Dogs at 9-9

The final weekend of the regular season is upon us and the Halton Hills Jr. B Bulldogs punched their ticket to the postseason for the 23rd consecutive season with a gritty 9-8 win on Thursday night in Clarington against their long time rvials the Green Gaels.

The Bulldogs up and down season has them at 9-9 heading into the final few games of the season.  If the Dogs were to win their final two games, they could still finish as high as fifth in the East with a little bit of help.  But first things first, the Bulldogs need two more wins this weekend as they can only control the controlables at this point.

Saturday's game will see the Brampton Excelsiors visit Alcott Arena for a 7pm start, the Bulldogs are 1-0 against Brampton this year.  The Dogs will wrap up the season on Sunday at 7pm at Barrie to take on the Bombers, the two teams have split the prior two meetings this season.
